Noh Nee fashion show in Paris

From June 11th to June 12th, 2016, we had the honor of presenting our collection at the 10th LABO INTERNATIONAL. The multicultural exhibition in Paris celebrated its 10th anniversary this year - founded by Yvette Tai-Coquillay in 2007 with the aim of creating a meeting platform for international designers.
When we arrived in Paris, we went straight to the fitting. We had a total of 10 different styles from our current fashion collection and dirndl models as well as the wonderful shoe creations from Hiegl in our luggage.
The big birthday show on Saturday evening was orchestrated in the presence of Ambassador Flora Coquerel, former Miss France, and Andy Amady Okoroafor. The focus of the show was on WAX PRINT FABRICS, which are omnipresent in West Africa and are also used primarily in our designs.
Wax fabrics used to be made by hand. Patterns were printed on cotton fabrics using wax stencils and then dyed. Today they are made by machine. One of the distinguishing features of wax fabrics is the same color intensity on the front and back of the fabric.

The stunning Yvoire de Rosen hosted the show in an evening dress by NOH NEE.
We really enjoyed our short trip to Paris and hope to see you again soon!
